Christening and Delivery for the first 2700TEU Container Ship built by SITC International

On the morning of October 27, 2020, a Christening ceremony took place at Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for one (1) 2700TEU Container Vessel built by our Group for SITC International, the first of the three series, which was witnesed and present by Lady Liu Lan, the Sponsor of the new building vessel, Mr. Yang Xianxiang, Deptuty Chairman and CEO of SITC International together with his wife, Mr. Yang Jie, Chairman of SITC Jiaxiang, Mr. Xiao Senyuan, vice president of SITC shipping group, Mr. Liu Yaoyong, Jiangyin regional manager of DNVGLl classification society, and Mr. Krzysztof Kozdron, General Manager of SMC group etc.

The vessel was christened the m.v. SITC PORT KLANG by Mr. Yang Xianxiang, Deputy Chairman and CEO of SITC International. Ms. Liu Lan, the honourable sponsor successfully cut the cable for the m.v. SITC PORT KLANG and blowed the whistle for the new vessel, blessing it ride the wind and waves with the safe return of the crew and full cargo. Mr. Zheng Cheng, the first captain and Mr. Jiang Yanhe, the first chief engineer introduced the performance and characteristics of the new vessel,and accompanied the honourable guests to visit the new vessel.

Mr. Xiao Senyuan, Vice President of SITC shipping group, Mr. Du Chengzhong, Deputy General Manager of YANGZIJIANG Shipping Group and Mr. Zhang Tao, Deputy General Manager of YANGZIJIANG Shipping Group signed the delivery documents the same day on behalf of each party. The vessel was smoothly delivered.
