NYZ christened and delivered the first 1000TEU Container Ship built to Zhejiang Seaport Group

On the afternoon of November 22nd, the first 1000TEU Container Ship m.v. Xinmingzhou 88  built by NYZ for Ningbo Ocean Shipping Co., Ltd. of Zhejiang Seaport Group, successfully christened and delivered.

The christening ceremony was held at NYZ Wharf of our group. Leaders and guests from Zhejiang Seaport Group, Ningbo Zhoushan Port Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Ocean Shipping Co., Ltd. attended the ceremony. The new ship was christened the m.v. Xinmingzhou 88 by sponsor Ms. Yu Yaping who cut the rope and prayed for its safe voyage.

It is designed by SDARI characterized by heavy container load, large container load, large square coefficient, moderate ship speed, reasonable main engine power and reserve power, low fuel consumption etc.

On the same day, witnessed by representatives of all parties, Mr. Chen Jiating, member of the Party Committee of Ningbo Ocean Shipping Co., Ltd. and Mr. Du Chengzhong, Deputy General Manager of our Group signed the delivery documents on behalf of both parties respectively. M.V. Xinmingzhou 88 was delivered ahead of the contractual delivery date.
