The first 3300TEU container ship "Ningyuan Ningbo" was named and delivered

On October 12, our group and Ningbo Ocean held a grand naming and delivery ceremony for the first 3300TEU container ship jointly at the New Yangzi Shipyard wharf. Ms. Dai Yu named the new ship "Ningyuan Ningbo" and threw champagne. The guests took a group photo with the new ship, and wished the new ship would ride the wind and waves, and the classes would be fully loaded, bringing safety to the crew, wealth and glory to the ship owner and all partners. Guests went aboard to visit the new ship. "Ningyuan Ningbo" is a special container ship for domestic trade designed and built by our group's new Yangzi Shipbuilding to meet the business needs of the ship owner Ningbo Ocean Shipping. It is also the largest container ship with the largest container load and the largest deadweight ton of Ningbo Ocean Shipping so far.

The vessel is 197 meters long, 34.8 meters wide, 19.2 meters deep, with a design draft of 12.5 meters, a total of 3318 TEUs and 58,000 DWTs. Equipped with a high-voltage shore power system, vortex fin elimination technology, electric heating system for cabinets, inverter seawater system, and an intelligent ship system, the vessel will further reduce the energy consumption and carbon emission, and effectively improve the safety and intelligence level. On the naming day, Mr. Chen Jating, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Ningbo COSCO, and Mr. Du Chengzhong, deputy general manager of Ningbo COSCO and general manager of New Yangzi Shipbuilding, signed the handover documents on behalf of the two parties under the joint witness of all the guests, and the vessel was successfully delivered.
