Delivery and Departure of the First 40000 DWT Bulk Carrier "HARMONY" built for Evalend

At 9:30 a.m. on April 30, the first 40000 DWT bulk carrier "HARMONY" built by our group's New Yangzi Shipbuilding for the Greek shipowner Evalend was delivered and departed from the shipyard wharf into operation.

The 40000 DWT bulk carrier "HARMONY" is the first vessel in a series of four ships built by our group for Evalend. It adopts the latest generation of green dolphin design of Shanghai Ship Research and Design Institute. The ship measures 176.97 meters in length, 31.99 meters in moulded width, 15 meters in moulded depth, and a maximum draft of 10.8 meters.

The signing and delivery ceremony of "HARMONY" was held on April 29, and the ship owner was very satisfied with the performance of the vessel, especially the speed performance in stormy waves. The operation of the new vessel will help the ship owner to gradually update the existing handy type vessels and improve the fleet operation efficiency.
