New capacity added to Yangzijiang Shipping Center: 52000DWT Bulk Carrier "Huayuan 503"

On the morning of April 23, one 52000DWT bulk carrier "Huayuan 503"built by our group’s New Yangzi Shipbuilding for the Yangzijiang Shipping Center departed from shipyard wharf and started her maiden voyage into operation. "Huayuan 503" is a domestic offshore and river-to-sea direct-route bulk carrier, which is suitable for carrying bulk solid goods, such as coal, ore and grains, etc. The vessel measures 199.95m in length overall, 32.26m in width, a scantling draft of 11.2m, deadweight of 53300t at scantling draft, a service speed of 13 knots, and a daily fuel consumption of 14.7t. The vessel is equipped with shaft generator, which makes shore power more energy-saving and environmentally friendly.

The signing and delivery ceremony of "Huayuan 503" was held in the morning of April 22nd.
