Successful Conclusion of the Construction of Ten 208,000 DWT Bulk Carriers for CDB Leasing

The 10th 208000DWT Bulk Carrier built by our Group for China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. was successfully named and delivered on the morning of April 23rd. The godmother Ms. Zuo Tianqi named the new ship "CL BAISE" (CDB Leasing BAISE).

Construction of the ship start on December 19, 2019, the keel was laid on November 12, 2020, and it was docked on March 26, 2021, setting a new high for the integrity of its docking. The sea-trial began on April 12th, 2021 and was successfully completed on April 17th, 2021. The ship began trial voyage 16 days after docking, and was completed and delivered 28 days later, once again refresh the best delivery record of YZJ.

▲On the same day, witnessed by representatives of all parties, Mr. Liu Yuguan, Deputy General Manager of CDB Leasing Ship Business Division, and Mr. Du Chengzhong, Deputy General Manager of our Group signed the delivery documents on behalf of both parties respectively. On April 24th, the ship "CL BAISE" left the shipyard wharf for its maiden voyage.

The smooth delivery of "CL BAISE" marks the successful conclusion of ten (10) 208000DWT Bulk Carriers in series built by our group for CDB Leasing. The 10 ships are:

③ CL PEARL RIVER 

④ CL YELLOW RIVER  

⑤ CL HUANGPU RIVER  

⑥ CL GUILIN  

⑦  CL LIUZHOU  

⑧  CL YULIN  

⑨  CL WUZHOU

⑩  CL BAISE

The total length of the ship is 299.95 meters, the length between perpendiculars is 294.4 meters, the width is 50 meters, the structural draft is 18.4 meters, the designed speed is 14.5 knots, EEDI meets the requirements of the second stage, and engine emissions meet the requirements of Tier III, with better route adaptability. Through experience accumulation, the new generation of ship types have been further optimized in fuel economy, structural lightweight, wind resistance optimization, wave resistance control, ice structure design and other aspects, which can provide customized green ship types for shipowners.

May 2018: The first ship steel-cutted, April 2021: tenth ship delivered. In the past three years, the company has overcome various difficulties, carefully arranged the production plan, optimized the process technology, paid close attention to the shipbuilding schedule, and carried out the trial voyage and inspection work in an orderly manner, so as to create a green, intelligent and economical ship for the shipowner.
