The second 2400TEU container vessel "CUL KLANG" built for China United Shipping was delivered and left the shipyard

At 10:18 a.m. on 9 March, the second 2,400TEU container vessel "CUL KLANG" built by our group New Yangzi Shipbuilding for China United Shipping was delivered and left the shipyard, put into operation, starting its maiden voyage.

On the morning of 8th March, our Group and China United Shipping held a grand naming and delivery ceremony for the new vessel. Ms. Lin Jie, the namer of the new vessel and the master of container vessel design of Shanghai Shipbuilding Research & Design Institute, Mr. Chen Honghui, the chairman of China United Shipping, Mr. Du Chengzhong, the vice general manager of our group and the general manager of New Yangzi Shipbuilding, Mr. Zhou Kewei, the vice general manager of our group, Mr. Ji Hongfei, the vice general manager of our group, as well as the shipping related media, the partner of the shipowner and the representatives of the staff attended the ceremony.

Ms. Lin Jie named the new vessel "CUL KLANG" (China Union Klang) and threw a champagne salute. The guests took photos with the new vessel, wishing the new vessel to ride the waves, deliver the goods smoothly, bring peace to the crew, and bring prosperity and glory to the shipowner and all parties involved. On the day of naming, in the presence of guests from all parties, Mr. Du Chengzhong, vice general manager of our group and general manager of New Yangzi Shipbuilding, Mr. Zhang Youbin, assistant president of China United Shipping and president of Singapore Overseas Headquarters, and the Shipping Business Department of Shanghai Pudong Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. Manager Mr. Zhang Yujing signed the delivery documents on behalf of the three parties, and the "CUL KLANG" was successfully delivered.

With the delivery and commissioning of the "CUL KLANG", it marks the successful conclusion of the two 2400TEU container vessel projects between our company and China United Shipping, and the first cooperation between the two parties was a complete success.
