The Eighth 3500TEU Container Vessel "MAERSK SEQUOIA" Built for LEPTA was delivered from the shipyard.

In the afternoon of 6th March, the "MAERSK SEQUOIA", one 3,500 TEU container vessel built and delivered by our group New Yangzi Shipbuilding for the ship owner Japan LEPTA Company, set sail from the shipyard.

"MAERSK SEQUOIA" has a total length of 200 meters, molded breadth of 36.4 meters, and molded depth of 20.6 meters. It is classified into the ABS. The construction of the vessel started in March 2023 and was successfully completed with the full co-operation of the owner's representative, PD on-site supervisory team, ABS Classification Society, shipyard and other parties. There are 10 vessels in the series of the same type, and this vessel is the eighth in the series, owned by LEPTA, which will be put into the fleet of MAERSK after delivery. 

The vessel was delivered by means of electric signature.
