The 16,000TEU container vessel "MSC MARIE" was delivered and left the shipyard

On the afternoon of 24th February, the fourth 16,000TEU container vessel built by our group Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding for SEASPAN-"MSC MARIE"- was delivered and left the shipyard to join the MSC fleet.

On 20th February, our Group held a naming and blessing ceremony for the new vessel together with the shipowner SEASPAN and the charterer MSC. Qiao Yaqian named the new vessel "MSC MARIE", cut the cable and threw a champagne ceremony for the new vessel, and sounded the whistle to bless the new vessel and the crew for a safe voyage and to bring honor and prosperity to the owner and the charterer.

On 22nd February, Mr. Su Xiaohua, Project Manager of SEASPAN Asset Management Department, Yang Haitao, Manager of MSC Site Office in Yangzi Xinfu, and Mr. Yang Xueyan, Vice General Manager of our Group and General Manager of Yangzi Xinfu, signed the delivery documents of MSC MARIE on behalf of all parties respectively. Relevant personnel from CCB Financial Leasing’s Ship Business Department, MSC Project Supervision Team, our Group Business Department and other relevant personnel witnessed the delivery ceremony.
