Delivery and Departure of 40,000 DWT Bulk Carrier "ROSTRUM SAO PAULO"

At 8:58 a.m. on January 10th, the 40,000DWT BC "ROSTRUM SAO PAULO" built by our group’s New Yangzi Shipbuilding for Shipowner Vogemann, was delivered and departed from the shipyard wharf for operation. The vessel cut the first plate at the beginning of February, 2024 and was built in accordance with the rules and regulations of class LR. In order to meet the transportation demand of wind power equipment, this ship type has been optimized to increase the deck loading area, which further improves the cargo handling capacity.

In the morning of January 6th, our group held a grand naming ceremony for the vessel together with the owner. Ms. Greta Luddeke named the new vessel "ROSTRUM SAO PAULO", cut the string, tossed champagne, and visited the vessel with the guests.

On January 6th, the day of naming, Mr. Jens Arndt, Chairman of Vogemann and Mr. Ji Hongfei, Deputy General Manager of the Group, signed the delivery documents of "ROSTRUM SAO PAULO" on behalf of the two parties under the witness of the representatives of all parties.
