On December 15, the first 700FEU LNG Container Deck Carrier built for Tiger Gas was successfully completed sea trial.
7000FEU LNG Container Deck Carrier is the largest LNG tank-transport dual-fuel deck carrier in the world, which is jointly developed by our group and Tiger Gas. It holds nearly 700 45-foot tank containers (about 15000 tons of liquefied natural gas). It is environmentally friendly, high efficiency and energy-saving. It adopts the design of LNG dual fuel engine and enters CCS single class. The ship is equipped with C-type LNG fuel tank and dual fuel engine, with a design speed of 16 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles in LNG-powered mode, meeting Tier III emission requirements.

During the sea trial, the 24-hour shift system is adopted to promote the trial project efficiently, and the trial plan is flexibly adjusted according to the actual sea conditions so as to ensure the smooth progress of the test items such as the speed measurement of the main engine with high requirements on the sea conditions. Unmanned engine room, main engine durability and other key test items were all passed at one time, and the integrity of the sea trial was effectively improved. The sea trial and gas test were successful at one time, creating a "new speed" of completing trials of LNG- powered ship in five days.
