On May 29th at 10:00 AM, YAMIC successfully signedand delivered the fourth 66,000 DWT bulk carrier, named "MEGHNAPROGRESS" (flying Bangladesh flag)for a Bangladeshi shipowner. At 10:30 AMon May 29th, our company and the shipowner MEGHNA held a grand naming ceremonyfor the new vessel. Ms. Beauty Akther, the godmother, named the new ship "MEGHNA PROGRESS," cut themooring ropes, and christened the ship with champagne, accompanied by thesounding of the ship's whistle, to bless the new ship and wish safe voyages forthe crew and honor and prosperity for the shipowner.
