Two More Delivered: Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Delivered Two 12200TEU Ultra-large Container Ships

Following the delivery of the first 12,200TEU ultra-large container ship "MSC CAROLE" on September 30, another two new ships of the same series have also been delivered ahead of schedule. On November 24th, the ships’ sponsor Ms. Chen Yun, Mr. Giuseppe Gargiulo, MSC China Area manager, Mr. Su Xiaohua, Project Manager of SEASPAN Asset Integration Department, Mr. JH Son, MSC Site Manager, and Mr. Yang Haitao, MSC Deputy Site Manager, Mr. Surana, Project Manager of DNV,  Mr. Ji Hongfei, Assistant General Manager of our group, together with other relevant leaders and guests attended the naming ceremony. Ms. Chen Yun named the two ships to be "MSC ALANYA" and "MSC RAYSHMI" respectively.

On November 25th, Mr. Li Kun, Senior Vice President of SEASPAN Global, Mr. Giuseppe Gargiulo, Manager of MSC China, Mr. Yang Guangyu, General Manager of Shipping Department of AVIC International Leasing Co., LTD. and Mr. Yang Xueyan, General Manager of Yangzi Xinfu signed the delivery documents on behalf of each party under the joint witness of other representatives. MV "MSC ALANYA" ship was delivered ahead of of contractual delivery date. On November 26th, MV "MSC ALANYA" departured from Shipyard to Qingdao Port on its maiden voyage.

On November 29th, Mr. Giuseppe Gargiulo, MSC China Area manager, Mr. Su Xiaohua, Project Manager of SEASPAN Asset Integration Department, Mr. Gong Leilei, Senior Project Manager of Shipping Business Department of Taiping & Sinopec Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. and Mr. Du Chengzhong, Deputy General Manager of our group signed the delivery documents on behalf of each party respectively. MV "MSC RAYSHMI" was delivered ahead of contractual delivery date. At 13: 28pm of December 2nd, MV "MSC RAYSHMI" departured from shipyard’s wharf for its maiden voyage.
