After the resumption of production, the First 1800TEU Container Ship built by Yangtze Changbo was successfully launched

On December 3rd, 2021, Yangzi Changbo's first 1800TEU Container Ship was successfully launched and docked safely at Zhongtai wharf after resuming production. The ship has a total length of 1719 meters, a width of 28.4 meters, a depth of 14.5 meters, and was keel-laid on October 6th, 2021. Considering the tide and the berthing safety of the wharf, it was launched three days ahead of schedule, and the construction period on slipway was 57 days. Although the ship was affected by the epidemic and power limit during the construction process, it was successfully launched with the efforts of the ship owner and the ship inspector working overtime to cooperate with the shipyard and all the staff of Yangzi Changbo.

The launching integrity rate of the ship is 84%. After launching, it is planned that the generator sets start running on December 12th, 2021 and the main engine starts on January 10th, 2022. The sea trial is scheduled on January 15th, 2022 and strive to deliver on January 28th,2022.
