The first 3500TEU container ship built by New Yangzi Shipyard for LEPTA shipowners was delivered

At 13: 58 on November 30th, “Maersk Acadia" the first 3500TEU container ship built and delivered by New Yangzi Shipyard for Japanese LEPTA shipowners, untied its mooring ropes and set sail from the shipyard wharf.“MAERSK ACADIA" with a total length of 200m, a width of 36.4m and a depthof 20.6m, entered ABS Classification Society. The ship started its massive steel-cutting on December 4, 2021. There are 10 series ships of the same type,chartedby Maersk Company, all of which will be built by New Yangzi Shipyard.

This ship type can meet IMO requirements and the latest international conventions in terms of environmental protection and low carbon."MAERSK ACADIA" was delivered on schedule by electric signing. Sincerely wish her a smooth sailing and a full load of classes in her operational career.
