3300TEU container ship "Ningyuan Tianjin"was named and delivered

On the morning of December 14, the second 3,300TEU container ship "Ningyuan Tianjin" built by New Yangzi Shipyard for Ningbo Ocean Shipping Co., Ltd. was delivered and unmoored and left the shipyard wharf for operation.

On December 13th, our group and Ningbo COSCO held a grand naming and delivery ceremony for the new vessel at the new Yangzi Shiphipyard wharf. Ms. Lin Qiao named the new vessel "NINGYUAN TIANJIN" and threw champagne. "NINGYUAN TIANJIN" is a special container ship for domestic trade specially designed and built by Yangzi Shipbuilding Group to meet the demand of the shipowner for offshore business in Ningbo, with a length of 197 meters, a breadth of 34.8 meters, a depth of 19.2 meters, a design draught of 12.5 meters, a total intake of 3,318 TEUs, and a DWT of nearly 58,000 tons. 

On the naming day, Mr. Chen Jating, Deputy General Manager of Ningbo COSCO, and Mr. Du Chengzhong, Deputy General Manager of YZJ Group and General Manager of New Yangzi Shipbuilding, signed the delivery documents on behalf of the two parties under the witness of all the guests.
