Delivery and Departure of 16,000 TEU LNG Dual-fuel Container Vessel “MSC OLBIA”

On the morning of December 18th, the third 16,000 TEU LNG dual-fuel container vessel “MSC OLBIA” built by our Group’s Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding for MSC, departed from the shipyard wharf and delivered to shipowner for operation.

On November 26th, our group held a naming and blessing ceremony for the new vessel together with Shipowner MSC. Ms. Chen Zeyi, named the new vessel "MSC OLBIA", cut the string, tossed champagne, sounded the whistle, and signed the new vessel's commemorative plaque together with the captain as a lasting memento.

On December 16th, Mr. CH Giuseppe Gargiulo, the Newbuilding Manager of MSC China, and Mr. Liu Yinjun, Deputy General Manager of Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding, signed the delivery documents on behalf of the two parties under the witness of the representatives of all parties.
